Sustainable Agriculture & Rural Livelihood Program

Sustainable agriculture is at the core of this initiative, focusing on environmentally friendly and economically viable farming techniques. The program promotes organic farming, reducing the reliance on chemical inputs and enhancing soil health and fertility. Organic farming not only improves the quality of produce but also contributes to the preservation of natural resources. The Women Farmer’s Field School is a pivotal component of this initiative, empowering women farmers with knowledge and skills. It fosters gender equality and women's participation in decision-making processes related to farming. Climate-resilient farming practices are crucial for rural communities facing the challenges of climate change. This initiative educates farmers on practices such as crop rotation, intercropping, and improved water management to adapt to changing weather patterns and mitigate risks associated with extreme weather events.
