GPSVS aims to addressing the pressing challenges of environmental degradation, climate change, protect the environment, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and prepare communities for the challenges posed by a changing climate. This program encompasses a wide range of strategies and activities geared towards safeguarding the planet and fostering resilience in the face of a changing climate. It is a critical step toward a more sustainable and resilient future for our planet. The program seeks to protect and preserve the natural environment by reducing pollution, conserving biodiversity, and promoting sustainable resource management.

Key Activities

  • Introduce & develop Social Forestry & agro forestry for protecting environment and agriculture field
  • Tree plantation in Public and Private Land
  • Conservation of water resource
  • Provide training and education of climate change impact on health, agriculture, water and other sectors
  • Knowledge management through GPSVS-KDAC (Knowledge Documentation Advocacy center) on Climate change & CC induce disaster
  • Reducing food security risk through the promotion of health and nutrition garden establishment at the community level
  • State & district level interface dialogue on CCI-DRR & Traditional health cultures
